Armed Robbers Force Carl’s Jr. Employees, Customer in Freezer

Roseville Police are searching for suspects of an armed robbery Sunday morning.

Three people were locked in a Carl’s Jr. freezer during an armed robbery Sunday morning.

About 9 a.m. Sunday, July 22, two armed men entered the , robbed the fast-food restaurant and locked two employees and one customer in the freezer, according to Dee Dee Gunther with the Roseville Police Department.

One suspect was armed with a handgun and the other was armed with a knife, Gunther said.

The suspects also took the customer’s cell phone and wallet, Gunther said.

Roseville Police are searching for the two suspects. One suspect, armed with a handgun, is described as a white or Hispanic adult male in his 20s, about 5-feet 9-inches, medium to heavy build and wearing a white hooded sweatshirt. The second suspect was armed with a knife and is described as a black or Hispanic male in his 20s and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.

The three people were only in the freezer for a short period of time until the suspects left the business, Gunther said.

No injuries were reported.
