Bar 101 in Old Town Roseville Celebrates Grand Opening Saturday

Bar 101, a new restaurant and bar has opened its doors in Historic Old Town Roseville and will celebrate its grand opening this Saturday, Aug. 11.

Located in the former Main Street Brewery at the corners of Main, Lincoln and Church streets, Bar 101 features a full bar and menu including specialty cocktails, appetizers, burgers and tacos. Jim Sweet, in Downtown Roseville, is now a chef at Bar 101 and may incorporate some of the Bunz & Co. menu favorites at this new restaurant and bar.

The space includes a stage area where they plan to host live entertainment, a pool table and a patio area in front where they hope to have outdoor seating in the future. On their 7 big-screen TVs, they also have plans to show football games during the NFL season.

On the Menu

Menu highlights include burgers and tacos. So far, the Package Burger has been a favorite — a bacon-wrapped, cheddar cheese-stuffed burger topped with onion strings, house-made barbecue sauce on a toasted brioche bun. Also on the burger menu is the Hangover Burger with a fried egg, bacon and hash browns; a Grilled Triple Cheese sandwich with cheddar, mozzarella and smoked Gouda cheeses and oven-roasted tomatoes; and a Pulled BBQ Pork sandwich.

They also serve chicken, fish and carnitas street tacos, beer-battered fish and chips and salads. Their appetizer menu includes Carnitas Fries, Hand-Dipped Beer Battered Onion Rings and Jalapeno Cheese Dip.

Cocktail Menu

Bar 101 has a "new-age martini" menu, classic cocktails and a full bar. Some of their new-age martinis include the Buttery Banana made with Bailey’s, Butterscotch Schnapps, Cream de Banana and cream; their Apple Cream Pop cocktail comes with vodka, sour apple, triple sec, agave nectar and cream; and their White Linen cocktail is made with gin, St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur and cucumber.
