Business News: Sammy's Rockin' Island Bar & Grill Opens Thursday

Four Sisters Cafe is holding a soft opening, KrushBurger may open Roseville restaurant and more.

Sammy’s Rockin’ Island Bar & Grill: Good news for those of you who couldn’t attend Saturday’s “invite-only” event at Sammy’s Rockin’ Island Bar and Grill: The restaurant and entertainment venue opens to the public Thursday, Sept. 20.

According to Steve Pease with Innova Restaurant Concepts LLC, the new Vernon Street eatery will open for dinner Thursday, with some grand opening festivities set for the weekend. On Friday night, rock band “Apple Z” will perform. “The Waboritas” will perform Saturday night, Pease said.

Next week, the restaurant will be open for both lunch and dinner, according to Pease.

Sammy's Rockin's Island Bar & Grill is located at 238 Vernon St. in Downtown Roseville.

Four Sisters Café: In other restaurant news, Four Sisters Café, located in the former AJ’s Eatery restaurant at 9050 Fairway Drive, Suite 165, is now open with temporary hours. They’re open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a limited menu this week, according to their Facebook page.

Four Sisters Café is set to hold a grand opening celebration Saturday, Oct. 6.

Stieber's Sweet Shoppe: Also that weekend is the projected grand opening of Stieber's Sweet Shoppe, a family-owned candy shop that will open at the Fountains at Roseville. They hope to hold their grand opening the weekend of Oct. 5-6, according to a news release.

The shop will feature bins full of candy, bars and nostalgia brands you can buy in bulk, as well as sugar- and gluten-free candies.

KrushBurger: The Sacramento Press reports that KrushBurger mobile food truck, formerly MiniBurger, may be looking to open a restaurant in Roseville. But first, they’re considering a location in Sacramento.
