In a news release, Johnson said that he believes the Fountains at Roseville is a good fit for Zócalo.

“We know our current and future customers will love what we have in store for them at this new location,” he said.

The restaurant will soon join other popular eateries at the shopping center.

“We welcome Zócalo to our Fountains family,” Fountains at Roseville General Manager Yoncie Griswold said in a news release. “Its customer service reputation and stellar menu will be a nice addition to Yard House, Mikuni Kaizen, Dave & Buster’s, McCormick & Schmicks and California Pizza Kitchen. Between Zócalo and the future fall opening of Jack’s Urban Eats, our guests will have even more dining choices in the center.”

The restaurant is owned by Jimmy Johnson, Ernesto Jiminez and Scott Kim; Noe Hernandez is the general manager. Johnson and Jiminez also own and operate , on Eureka Road in east Roseville.
