For some Thursday entertainment, check out a few singles looking for love on Craigslist. The site's Missed Connections section is the last-ditch hope for those who spied a potential match but couldn't get up the nerve to exchange contact information.

Amtrak To Roseville Thursday — "I sat down across from you in Martinez today and rode to Roseville at the same table (glad you came back after Sacramento). You were very easy to talk to...I know I've seen you on the train before. I would very much like to get to know you. ..."

Saw you at WalMart in Roseville 5/4 — "You were wearing jeans & a pink & white-stripped shirt. You drove up in a BMW (5-series?), parked in the same isle as me & immediately caught my attention. Our eyes met just once inside. I would have approached you but you had someone with you, & felt it would be inappropriate."

Bettencourt Drive — "You were walking near the corner of Bettencourt and Trestle. I often see you in the same location. We exchanged glances like we often do. I am definitely interested in getting to know you."

Server at Claim Jumper — "I asked you if you knew where the closest access to the bike trail was, and you told me! You are absolutely beautiful! Maybe sometime we could get coffee or go for a ride sometime?"
