Placer SPCA Holds Cat Adoption Event this Weekend

Fees will be waived for nine long-term cats Saturday and Sunday at the Placer SPCA in Roseville.

Cats Angelina, Bam Bam, Cutie, Hawthorne, Mr. Bones, Taz, Tilly, Wrigley, and Zoey will all have their adoption fees waived during an adoption event this weekend at the . The goal is to find forever homes for these nine felines who have been at the shelter long-term.

These nine long-term cats have spent the last three weeks at foster homes, waiting for adoption for three months or more. Two felines have been waiting for six months.

The cats will return to the Placer SPCA on Saturday, July 14.  On July 14-15, the adoption fees will be waived for those specific cats and their foster parents will be on hand to give a little extra insight into their personalities.

“I have grown to love Tilly,” said foster volunteer Linda Brandlein in a news release.  “I plan to be here to show just how silly and sweet she is, and to see that she finds the perfect home she deserves.”

All adoptions from the Placer SPCA include spay or neuter surgery, microchip, vaccinations, and a voucher for a free veterinary exam.
