Veterans Day Ceremonies Set for Monday

The public, Veterans and their families are invited to honor those who have served and are serving in all branches of United States military.

Roseville Veterans Day Ceremonies Monday will include annual events at the city's World War II Monument and the Roseville Veterans Memorial Hall in Royer Park.  

A tribute to all veterans who have served and those who are currently serving in the Armed Forces will be held at the WWII Monument, 114 Vernon St. from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

Earlier in the day at 11 a.m., a Veterans of Foreign Wars celebration will be held in the Veterans Hall, 110 Park Dr.

The Travis Brass of the U.S. Air Force Band of the Golden West will provide patriotic music. Brigadier Gen. Donald J. Currier, from the commanding general headquarters of the California Army National Guard, will give an address to Veterans and their families. 

The public is invited to come and recognize those who have served in all branches of the United States military and to acknowledging those currently serving.

Attendees can bring photographs of family and friends in their uniforms to share. Tables will display the photos and additional memorabilia. Lunch will be served.
