- The restaurant and bar closed over the weekend, the Sacramento Bee reports.

- During a special council meeting Monday night, councilmembers approved an ordinance in which the city will pay to keep its redevelopment agency.

- Pottery Barn, American Eagle, JC Penney and Zales among shops at the Westfield Galleria at Roseville looking to hire.

- Victor Rodriguez suffered many internal injuries including a punctured lung after a para-sailing accident with his wife Crystal on June 16. The newlyweds got married on June 4. Crystal did not survive the accident.

- Bite-sized burgers, gourmet grilled cheeses and waffles were all served up at the mobile food feast at Future Ford in the Roseville Auto Mall Thursday night.

- Zechariah Carr was arrested on suspicion of committing sexual acts on at least two of his customers at local tattoo shops.
