Country in the Park Concert Moves from Roseville Fairgrounds to Cal Expo

The change to KNCI's concert location was made because of worry about crowd control, according to the Sacramento Business Journal.

Country singers Darius Rucker, Craig Morgan, Craig Campbell and Jon Pardi will no longer be in Roseville for KNCI's Country in the Park concert Aug. 17. Instead, the concert has moved to Cal Expo in Sacramento, according to the Sacramento Business Journal

The change from the Placer County Fairgrounds to Cal Expo was made because of concern for crowd control, parking and traffic, the SBJ reports

Between 10,000 and 17,000 people are expected to attend the concert; a large event at the Placer County Fairgrounds attracts about 3,000, according to the SBJ.

The new location information has also been changed on KNCI's website to alert concert-goers.
