Beer lovers will soon have a new place to sample local brews in Roseville. , is expected to open this July in the former Corrina’s Dessert Café at the corner of Eureka Road and Sierra College Boulevard.
Owners Amy and Kyle Ruthnick said they hope to have about 20 beers on tap and showcase local craft beer, specifically West Coast, Northwest and Belgian beers.
They envision the 1,800-square-foot space as a place people age 21 and over can come to relax and enjoy their beer selection. They’ll also have a small food menu with cold food items.
If you’re not in the mood for beer, they’ll also have a menu of wines and champagnes.
And if you’re short on time, customers will also be able to mix and match 6-packs of beer and take it to go, Amy Ruthnick said.
When you walk into the new space, you’ll find a bar area, televisions set to sports stations, a patio with about 6 tables and beer and railroad memorabilia lining the walls.
The Final Gravity concept started a few years ago when the Ruthnicks lived in Portland. They became frequent patrons of a few of their favorite tap rooms and when they settled in Roseville about a year ago, their real planning began.
“We started with an idea … and we just decided to change our lives two years ago,” Kyle Ruthnick said.
In addition to introducing customers to new and local brews, the Ruthnicks said they hope to meet others interested in beer and expand their beer knowledge.
They hope to open July 10.
