Another inexpensive route is to go when they have 2 for $20 Monday and Tuesdays, it includes an appetizers, main course and either their tasty flan or cream filled churros serve al mode with vanilla ice cream. If you go Tuesdays Century 14 next door has a deal for 5.00 movies excluding special event movies or the HD theater, but you can make it an inexpensive day/date night this summer on Tuesdays with Mas, Century 14 and Downtown Tuesdays, a win, win, win.

Mas Cocina Mexicana is my new favorite restaurant. The food is excellent, the service is fantastic, and the atmosphere is lovely, especially on the patio. Providence Bible Church hosts a fundraiser each year called the Fiesta Mexicana to raise funds to build houses for the poor in Ensenada, Mexico. I asked Mas to donate the food for this event, but they so far exceeded my request! They not only donated the food, they sent a chefs, Brian and Isidro, to cook the food onsite, a public relations representative, Laura, to talk with our guests and establish a relationship with our community, and even surprised us with an appetizer mixer before the dinner began. Because of Mas' generosity and commitment to excellence, Providence Bible Church was able to raise over $8,500 in a single night! The talk of the event was the food, and well it should be! It was simply fantastic! I had the privilege of working in the kitchen with Isidro, Brian, and Laura, and we had such a great time! I would eat at Mas Cocina Mexicana because the food is amazing. But I enjoy it all the more because of the people who work there. Great food, great service, great people! Thank you so much!!!! Suzzanne Bonn
