This week’s Help Wanted found numerous openings at Babies “R” Us and Toys “R” Us in various departments from sales to stocking, human resources and much more. PG&E is seeking a distribution supervisor, World Market is in need of talented sales associate and other local opportunities this week.
Job Tip of the Week: It’s Spring break and this might be the year your teen would like to earn some extra dollars since you may have cut the allowance in half… Here are a few tips to help your child obtain a job; suggest that they visit their school’s career or guidance counselor; network with your friends, colleagues and co workers about your child’s job search; share your knowledge such as what to wear, how to interview and proper etiquette; help research and gather the necessary information for their resume and proof read it. Make sure to help them with transportation; most importantly, encourage and push them, but let them do it on their own and let them find their own path.

Position: Distribution supervisor, Gas T&R
Duties: Oversee all gas compliance of the regulation of corrosion for transmission and the distribution facilities.
Requirements: Minimum 3 years of journey level experience in distribution/construction field or equivalent, high school diploma/GED, working knowledge of IBEW Contract, Microsoft Office and knowledge of the California Public Utility Commission General Orders 95, 165 and /or 112E.
Compensation: DOE
Requirements: Prior cleaning experience, customer service, able to work weekends and holidays, multi task, must be 18 years or older and able to work in a fast paced environment.

Requirements: High school graduate/GED, 18 years of age or older, retail sales preferred, regular attendance and excellent communication skills.

Duties: Support management, operations, customer service and perform various tasks.
Requirements: High school graduate/GED, 18 years of age or older, retail sales preferred, able to travel throughout the district, regular attendance and excellent communication skills.
Duties: Tutor student’s educational subjects within your expertise, travel to client homes, flexible scheduling.
Requirements: Must have a degree, some tutoring experience, able to travel and junior and senior university students are welcome to apply.
Compensation: $25 per hour (you can choose however many hours to work).
