Hiring Center Opens for Granite Bay Walmart Neighborhood Market

They expect to hire approximately 60 employees for the Granite Bay store.

Despite some Neighborhood Market will open in Granite Bay, they are moving forward with opening plans.

In preparation for its fall opening of the store, located at the Roseville and Granite Bay border at Douglas and Sierra College boulevards, they have opened a temporary Walmart hiring center, according to the Roseville Chamber of Commerce.

Walmart expects to hire an estimated 60 employees for the store, according to the news from Walmart.

The hiring center is located at 4060 Douglas Blvd., Suites 107 and 108 in Granite Bay and is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Walmart Neighborhood Markets are fairly new concepts — the first opened in Arkansas in 1998. The markets are designed to help with quick trips and a spot to pick up groceries, general merchandise and items from the pharmacy, according to Walmart.

A representative from Walmart could not be reached for comment.
