Kings to Host NBA Draft Party in Roseville

A draft-watching party will be held at Dave & Busters June 28.

The Sacramento Kings have nowhere to go but up. The team finished in last place in the Pacific Division this season, and now have the fifth-round pick in the NBA draft.

The Kings will host several parties around the region to watch the draft, including one at at the Fountains at Roseville.

The party will be held from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on June 28. It will be hosted by KNCI 105.1 and trivia, raffle prizes and giveaways will be part of the festivities.

The Kings, who have a long list of prospective players visiting for pre-draft workouts, have several options with their draft pick, according to the NBA website:

"Harrison Barnes would address the need for better shooting and small forward, John Henson for defense," the NBA said. "That would be higher than most have Henson going, but he would be a great pairing with center Cousins. Jared Sullinger will be in the mix."

Some of the Kings' recent draft picks have included Tyreke Evans in 2009, DeMarcus Cousins in 2010 and Jimmer Fredette in 2011.
