The Roseville Press Tribune, a newspaper covering Roseville and Granite Bay, announced today it would soon start publishing its print editions only once a week, instead of twice weekly.
Starting in July, the paper plans to start publishing one print edition per week every Friday. Currently, it publishes each Wednesday and Saturday. The final Saturday edition will run July 7. The first weekly issue will print Friday, July 13, according to the newspaper's announcement on its website.
Curious minds might want to know: Why the change?
Roseville Press Tribune Publisher Kelly Leibold said they think the change will be better for readers and advertisers, according to the announcement. It will also increase circulation. The change is not because of declining advertising or circulation, according to the announcement.
The also announced plans for a website redesign in the next few weeks.
