On the other side, the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation is backing a call for a National Same-Sex Kiss Day on Friday, Aug. 3, to be held at Chick-fil-A restaurants nationwide.
The controversy comes from a statement by Chick-fil-A executive Dan Cathy, who supports the view of marriage as between a man and a woman. Dan Cathy, son of company founder Truman Cathy, said the fast-food giant was “guilty as charged” of supporting “the biblical definition of the family unit.”
Chick-fil-A is located at 912 Pleasant Grove Blvd. in Roseville.
