The wait is almost over — The Fresh Market is set to open at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24 in Roseville.
The market takes over the vacancy left in the Rocky Ridge Town Center when Borders bookstores closed across the country.
Wednesday's opening marks the first Fresh Market in California. They have almost 130 stories across the country. You can read more about The Fresh Market coming to Roseville here.
Grand Opening Festivities
The celebration starts at 8:45 a.m. with a ribbon cutting — something the company calls a "cracking of the Parmesan." The first 1,000 customers will get a free reusable shopping bag filled with market goodies.
At 10 a.m., they'll hold outdoor grilling and chef demonstrations, all day until 7 p.m.
Can't make it to the grand opening? Chef demos will continue from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily through Saturday. They'll also have sampling stations up inside the store from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily through Sunday.
