First Bank Employee Recognized For Volunteer Spirit

In recognition of her outstanding volunteer spirit in 2013, First Bank’s Janette Moynier received a First Bank CRA (Community Reinvestment Act) Community First Award.

 

Moynier, a Vice President and Community Banker at the Roseville branch (201 Vernon St.), was recognized in the Gold Level category by providing over 300 hours of financial services to community service organizations. She is a Roseville resident.

All told, 87 First Bank employees system wide received First Bank CRA (Community Reinvestment Act) Community First Awards.

The First Bank CRA Community First Awards Program recognizes an employee’s service contributions to CRA-qualified organizations. Community First Awards can be earned by volunteering time towards CRA-qualified activities, which support one of the following criteria for low-to-moderate income individuals:

 

  • Affordable housing
  • Community services
  • Economic development
  • Revitalization

 

Bank system wide (Missouri, Illinois, California, and Florida), the 87 First Bank employees recognized spent more than 7,000 hours volunteering in their communities. The awards were broken down into three levels: Gold (at least 100 hours of volunteer service), Silver (50 hours), and Bronze (25 hours).
