Roseville's Park, Recreation & Libraries announces its new mission.
Hi everyone. I’m thankful for this forum to share news and happenings from Roseville Parks, Recreation & Libraries. Although I have been in Roseville only 6 months, I already love calling it home. Roseville values their 66 parks, 3 libraries, open spaces, golf courses, pools, museums and programs.
The last 6 months have been a whirlwind of information and I have learned a lot. Recently, I worked with staff to create a new mission statement for the department which I’m happy to share with you.
The mission for Roseville Parks, Recreation & Libraries is to: enhance lives and the community by providing exceptional experiences.

This is a concise, but impactful mission statement. I believe it helps define what we aspire to do each day. To be exceptional is a bold statement, but I believe we have the ability to deliver it.
I want to thank Roseville for welcoming me so openly and giving me the opportunity to lead the department. I look forward to hearing your comments and feedback.
