Updated Holiday Guide: Roseville Events Celebrating the Season

Fountains vintage holiday carriage rides begin this weekend at The Fountains.

Roseville holiday events continue through the season with the start of The Fountains at Roseville's Vintage Cinderella Holiday carriage rides beginning Saturday, Nov. 24.

Other events include the popular and annual Holiday Craft Fair and Book Sale at Maidu Community Center scheduled to be on Saturday, Dec. 1.

And a special fundraising Holiday Teddy Bear Tea is slated for Sunday, Dec. 2, benefitting the community's Roseville Home Start program.

Saturday, Dec. 1

• Holiday Craft Fair & Book Sale

9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Maidu Community Center and Library, 1550 Maidu Dr.

The 23rd Annual Holiday Craft Fair and Book Sale is held each year at the Maidu Community Center and Maidu Community Library. The event features more than 140 crafters, a used book sale, entertainment and food. Admission and parking are free.

All Nations Craft Fair

10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Maidu Activity Center, in Maidu Museum and Historic Site, adjacent to Maidu Park, 1960 Johnson Ranch Dr. 

Drop by the Maidu Activity Center for the All Nations Native Craft Fair. A Native American opening ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m. followed by music, singing and drumming. A children’s activity center will also be on hand. Admission and parking are free.

Sunday, Dec. 2

• Holiday Teddy Bear Tea

2 - 5 p.m., Flower Farm Inn, 4150 Auburn Folsom Road in Loomis - (916) 782-6667

Teddy bears for children 12 and under.

The benefit for homeless families will include a special Nuctracker performance by "Come Dance with Me," pictures with Santa and holiday story reading. Children tea snacks and treats. Traditional holiday tea for adults. Holiday Raffle.

KFBK's Morning Anchor, Amy Lewis will emcee  the tea. 

Proceeds benefit Roseville Home Start. Founded in 1995, the non-profit organization transitions homeless families into affordable sustainable and permanent housing.

5 - 7 p.m., Victorian Carolers sing in the holiday season, The Fountains at Roseville.

• Santa in the Park
3 - 6 p.m., Roseville Sports Center, 1545 Pleasant Grove Blvd.

See Santa arrive at 3:30 on a Roseville fire truck. Enjoy cookies, punch, music, carols and crafts. Don’t forget your camera.
