Here's a look at what went on in Roseville last week:

- Roseville Police detectives seized about a pound of marijuana during the arrest of suspected drug dealers, one from Roseville, and another from Citrus Heights.

- As part of its grand opening celebrations, $2,500 will be given to Thomas Jefferson Elementary School.

- After three years of preparation and planning, The Place restaurant, located on Vernon Street in Downtown Roseville, is set to officially open Saturday, Nov. 12.

- Vacancies in Roseville and Rocklin strip malls decreased, while they increased in community neighborhood centers for the third quarter, according to Colliers International.

- A restaurant/entertainment venue may be coming soon to Vernon Street as part of the plan to revive Downtown Roseville.

- The Roseville office has been closed since Nov. 2 for black mold removal.
