Your Guide to Pre-Halloween Weekend in Roseville

Haunted houses, Vampire Ball and other Halloween events going on this weekend.

From trick-or-treating and family friendly Halloween events to haunted houses and an adult-only Vampire Ball, here are ways you can celebrate Halloween in Roseville this year:

Callson Manor Haunted House
Zombies, vampires, a strobe light maze and three haunted houses take over the Placer County Fairgrounds this Halloween. The Living Dead Stage also features two nightly shows. There will be zombie paintball, Chainsaw Alley maze, tarot reader, a Road Kill Café and more.
When: The houses are open from 7:30-10 p.m. Oct. 25-31
Where: Placer County Fairgrounds, 800 All America City Blvd., Roseville

Haunted House Halloween Party
The Roseville REC Center is hosting a Halloween party and haunted house event with proceeds going back to the Roseville REC Center Teen Leadership.
When: 5-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26
Where: Roseville REC Center, 313 High St. in Roseville
Cost: $5 entrance

Westfield Family Spooktacular
The Westfield Galleria at Roseville will open its doors to lots of Halloween festivities in a Spooktacular weekend filled with a kids costume parade, face painting, crafts and more.
When: Noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27; Parade begins at 1 p.m.
Where: Westfield Galleria at Roseville, in the center court near JC Penney

Trunk or Treat
Bayside Church is hosting their annual Trunk or Treat event with a full weekend of Halloween festivities. It starts at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 with carnival games, a magician, trick or treating and more. On Sunday, Oct. 28, from 3-6 p.m., they’ll have hundreds of decorated cars, trunks full of candy, carnival games, music, balloon, food and more.
When: 4-7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 and 3-6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28

A Mikey Muffins Music Show & Halloween Hoopla
Ukuleleist Mikey Muffins and the Adventure Fun Squad will kick off the night with a concert at Beatnik Books in Historic Old Town Roseville. They will also hold a "best DIY Halloween costume contest," so come dressed in your best do-it-yourself costume. 
When: 8-11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27

Vampire Ball
Shannon “Ms. Macabre” McCabe is hosting the Vampire Ball at the Placer County Fairgrounds and this year’s theme is “The Vampire Chronicles — A tribute to all things Anne Rice.” Party-goers must be 21 or older to attend.
When: 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27
Where: Placer County Fairgrounds, Jones Hall, 800 All America City Blvd., Roseville
Cost: $17 for tickets purchased online; parking is $5

Halloween Treats
Whole Foods Roseville will be passing out candy to kids who stop by the customer service booth on Halloween. Kids and families can also venture to Halloween Street in the front of the store, where they have a pumpkin patch, a photo booth and a hay maze.
When: Halloween, Wednesday, Oct. 31
Where: Whole Foods Market Roseville, Fountains at Roseville
