Upcoming Book: With Pain and Love for Contemporary Man by Elder Paisios of Mount Athos. Chapter themes and sub-themes include:

• Sin and the Devil - It is Fashionable to Sin - The Secular Spirit

• Modern Civilization - In the Era of Comforts There Is So Much Discomfort - Simplify Your Life to Avoid Anxiety

• The Spirit of God and the Spirit of the World - Rationalism in Our Times

• The Church in Our Times - Education

Each person in the group takes turns reading a section of the book out loud while the rest of the group listens--allowing for comments and questions at the end. This group makes reading a shared experience and frees the busy members from the “homework” of having to read the book before coming to the group. We create a refreshing environment for commenting on the specifics of various Christian spiritual insights.

We look forward to meeting you!

Book Reviews:

Amazon.com - 4.30 out of 5 Stars “A phenomenal spiritual guide, Elder Paisios is sweet, simple, charming, clear in thought, funny and loving. This entire series of books is wonderful. In a question and answer format, it is easy to pick up and read at any time. My college age children have loved them as well and these books have helped bring my children peace while navigating college life. Volume 4 (recently translated into English) will be under the Christmas tree for them this year!” - Pamela F. on November 22, 2013
