Big Rig Accident Backs Up Traffic at Highway 65/Interstate 80

About two gallons of oil spilled on Highway 65 in Roseville near Galleria Boulevard after a four-vehicle crash.

A four-vehicle crash Tuesday morning on Highway 65 in Roseville caused delays on Highway 65 and Interstate 80 in Roseville and Rocklin, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Just before 8 a.m., a crash involving three cars and a big rig occurred on Highway 65 near the Galleria Boulevard off-ramp, according to CHP. CHP issued a Sig Alert to warn drivers that traffic on westbound Interstate 80 was backed up to Rocklin Road.

About two gallons of oil was spilled when the big rig tow truck picked up the big rig and the oil pan fell off.

It’s unknown if anyone was injured during the crash.

The scene was cleared around 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, according to CHP.
