Chase Bank in Roseville Robbed; Stolen Car Used as Getaway Vehicle

The Douglas Boulevard Chase branch was robbed Thursday afternoon, police say.

Authorities are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who allegedly robbed a bank in Roseville Thursday afternoon and then fled in a stolen car.

The man pictured in the attached security photos robbed the Chase bank at 1800 Douglas Blvd. around 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Roseville Police said.

He produced a note demanding money–no weapon was seen–and the teller complied, according to a press release.

"He received an undisclosed amount of cash and left, getting into the back passenger seat of a faded silver older Toyota Camry sedan with two other people in the car," the press release states. "Officers located the Camry abandoned in a nearby residential neighborhood, and found that it had been stolen last night or this morning from the area of Florin Road and Stockton Boulevard in Sacramento.  It's unknown what other vehicle the suspects might now be driving."

Roseville Police described the man as "a male with a tan or olive complexion and dark hair, wearing a black beret, black rimmed eyeglasses, and a beige pea coat and scarf over a white button shirt and dark slacks."
