Catalytic Converter Thefts:

Between July 6 and 13, someone stole the catalytic converter from a Toyota 4-Runner parked in the 300 block of Anacapa Drive. 

Between July 8 and 11, someone stole the catalytic converter from a Toyota 4Runner parked in the 1200 block of Chablis Circle.

Overnight July 11/12, someone stole the catalytic converter from a Toyota Sequoia parked in the 2200 block of Silver Creek Lane. 

Overnight July 11/12, someone stole the catalytic converter from a Toyota Sequoia parked on Silver Poplar Court.

Between July 12 and 15, someone stole the catalytic converter from a Toyota 4Runner parked in the 1400 block of Kennedy Drive.

Between July 13 and 14, someone stole the catalytic converter from a Toyota Tacoma pickup parked in the 100 block of South Lincoln St.

Overnight July 14-15, someone stole the catalytic converters from a Toyota Sequoia SUV parked in the 1600 block of Revere Drive. 

Overnight July 15/16, someone stole catalytic converters from a Toyota Sequoia in the 1600 block of Revere Drive, and from a Toyota Sequoia parked in the 1700 block of Evergreen.

Saturday, July 7

Between July 7 and 12, someone went into a locked vehicle parked in the 1000 block of Madden Lane, entering by unknown means, and stole a portable GPS device.

Tuesday, July 10

Between 11 a.m. July 10 and 8:30 a.m. July 11, someone rifled through two unlocked pickups on Aberdeen Court and took music CDs and a pellet rifle.

Wednesday, July 11

Between 6:45 and 11:30 p.m. on July 11, someone broke the window of a vehicle parked in the 500 block of N. Sunrise Ave. and took a backpack that had been left behind the driver's seat.  The backpack contained an iPad.

Between 9 and 10:40 p.m. July 11, someone smashed the window of a car parked by the Sculpture Park Miner's Ravine trailhead, and took a purse that had been left on the floorboard behind the driver's seat, covered up by clothing.    The purse contained the victim's cell phone, ID and credit cards.

Overnight July 11/12, someone stole a cream-colored 2012 Fiat 500 two-door coupe from the garage of an apartment complex in the 700 block of Central Park Drive.  The thief got into the garage by prying the pedestrian door.  The victim had left her purse and other valuables inside the unlocked vehicle; her purse contained cash, gift cards, credit cards and an extra key to the vehicle.

Thursday, July 12

Between July 12 and 14, someone pried the window of a car parked in the 1100 block of Coral Drive, and took golf clubs, sunglasses, and other electronic items.

Garage burglary: Between July 12 and 13, someone broke into a detached garage in the 200 block of Thomas St., and stole tools and a blue 1970 Honda motorcycle.

Friday, July 13

Sometime before 1:16 a.m. on July 13, a suspect broke the window of a car parked at a bar/restaurant in the 1100 block of Orlando Avenue and took ID cards and other small items.  An officer contacted a suspect in the business's parking lot and recovered the stolen property. The 21-year-old male from Elk Grove was arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of burglar's tools and possession of stolen property.

Saturday, July 14

Between 1:30 and 1:53 p.m. on July 14, someone went into an unlocked camper shell of a pickup parked in a store parking lot in the 1900 block of Douglas Blvd., and took a 2011 Trek 1.5 road bicycle, black in color with white accents.

Overnight July 14/15, someone slashed the tires on at least nine vehicles in the 1000 and 1100 blocks of Coloma Way and the 1100 block of Audrey Way.

Overnight July 14/15, someone went into a vehicle parked in a driveway in the 1400 block of Frances Drive and took sunglasses and other items.  Entry was probably made through the vehicle's window, which had been left slightly open. Another neighbor in the same block reported an attempted vehicle burglary, but entry wasn't made and nothing was taken. At 2 a.m., a home video surveillance camera captured an image of a male trying the door of an RV nearby on Gerry Way. You can see the image here.

Sunday, July 15

Between 1 and 5:45 p.m. July 15, someone stole a purse from the trunk of a car parked in the 300 block of N. Sunrise Avenue.  The purse contained cash, ID and credit cards. It's unknown how the thief got into the locked car.

Between 4:30 and 8:30 p.m. July 15, someone stole three chain saws and a miter saw from the back of a pickup parked in the 1400 block of Mallard Way.

At about 6 p.m. July 15, a man was seen stealing a power saw from the back of a pickup in the 1500 block of Meadow Lark Drive.  The suspect was a white male, accompanied by a white female, driving a red Suzuki Samurai.

Overnight July 15/16, someone stole the motor from a boat parked in the 300 block of Shasta St.
