Monday, July 16

At 9:50 a.m. July 16, a resident of the 1700 block of Chelsea Way came home and saw an unknown male running from his backyard.  The burglar had gotten in by prying a back window, and had rummaged through the master bedroom and stolen jewelry from a jewelry box.  The suspect was described as a white male in his mid-20s, 6'2" tall and 180 pounds, with short brown hair in a crew-cut. He had a cloth wrapped across his face. A second white male, also in his mid-20s, was waiting in a dark-colored, small SUV, similar to a Kia or a Subaru; they drove off.

Garage burglarized:  Between 4 and 6 a.m. July 16, someone went into the garage of a home in the 1800 block of San Carlos Circle while the residents were inside the house.  The burglar rummaged through garage cabinets and cars parked inside the garage, taking portable stereo equipment, car keys and the garage remote.  The burglar got in through the partially open garage doors. The victim had raised the garage doors about 2 feet for ventilation.

Tuesday, July 17

Between midnight and 2:30 a.m. July 17, residents of a home on Carlina Court heard a crash coming from a room used as a home office. The residents weren't concerned because they assumed it was their cat knocking things down.  Later they discovered that someone had gone into the office, scattered papers around and stolen a tablet computer, a camera, and cash and credit cards from a wallet.  The burglar may have gotten in through an unlocked pedestrian garage door and then an unlocked door between the garage and the house.
