Crime Watch: Business Burglaries, Cash for Tips

Multiple Business Burglaries

Three business complex units in the 1200 block of Pleasant Grove Boulevard were recently burglarized. One occurred on the nights of July 12 or 13, and the other two on the nights of either July 18 or 19. In each case, entry was made by prying a rear door, and nothing was taken, police report. Two of the units were vacant.

Also, in the early morning hours of July 12, officers responded to an alarm at a business in the 900 block of Pleasant Grove Boulevard. Burglars had made entry, but nothing was missing.

Sometime overnight on July 12/13, someone broke into a restaurant in the 5000 block of Foothills Boulevard and took cash and small items.

At 4 a.m. on July 24, a store in Roseville Square was burglarized. Suspects made entry by breaking into an adjacent vacant space, then knocking a hole in the wall separating the businesses. The cash register and merchandise were taken. A newer-looking silver Honda Civic was reportedly seen in the area at the time.

Six Mail Boxes Broken Into

Sometime overnight on July 23/24, at least six cluster mailboxes in the Hillsborough North gated community were broken into. Mail may have been taken, according to police.
