Driver Pretends to Shoot at Pedestrian

Roseville Police are searching for a driver who reportedly pointed what looked like a semi-automatic pistol and pretended to shoot a pedestrian around 6:30 p.m. Oct. 10.

A resident reported that while he was walking on Spanish Bay Way, between Callawassie Way and Shenencock Way, a white, newer-looking Acura two-door sedan went past him.  The Acura driver pointed what appeared to be a pistol at the pedestrian and pretended to shoot at him. No shots were actually fired.

The driver was described as a white male in his 20s or early 30s, clean-shaven, with long black hair, wearing a black shirt. The car was last seen southbound on Shenencock toward Legends Way.

Teens Suspected of Car Burglaries

Two teens were arrested on suspicion of possessing stolen property after police found items in their possession taken from vehicles in the neighborhood.  

Just after midnight on Oct. 12, a resident of the Olympus Pointe neighborhood saw two people walking down the street, looking into cars and trying car doors. The witness kept an eye on them and called 911, giving the dispatcher a description of the suspects and their vehicle. Officers detained the two suspects and found they had taken cell phones and other expensive items from two unlocked vehicles in the neighborhood. 

Two men, ages 18 and 19, from Antelope and Citrus Heights, were arrested on suspicion of possessing stolen property and conspiracy.

Bike Shop Burglary

Sometime late Oct. 12 or early morning Oct. 13, an unknown suspect burglarized Sharp Bicycles, a bike shop in the 700 block of Pleasant Grove Boulevard.  The suspect got into the building's shared electrical room by unknown means, and then knocked a hole in the wall between the electrical room and the business.  A computer and cash were taken.
