Man Brandishes Handgun During Argument Outside Apartment Complex

Four men were arrested April 23 following an argument outside a Roseville apartment complex. A handgun was also brandished during the altercation. 

According to Roseville Police, at 11:52 p.m. April 23, officers responded to a disturbance involving several people outside an apartment complex in the 1100 block of Conroy Lane. They found out that the incident began when a man and woman got into an altercation inside one of the apartments.

The man went outside, where several males confronted him, accusing him of hitting the woman. One of the men hit him in the face several times, and another male pointed a handgun at him.

The assailants then got into a car and drove away. Officers stopped their car on Cirby Way at Orlando Avenue, and one of the passengers ran away, dropping a handgun as he fled. Officers caught him and took him into custody, and recovered the handgun.

The 19-year-old male driver, from Carmichael, was arrested on suspicion of DUI and other related charges. The passengers, a 23-year-old male from Sacramento and a 20-year-old male from North Highlands, were arrested for various assault and weapons charges.

The male who was originally involved in the altercation inside the apartment, a 20-year-old Roseville resident, was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic violence.

Woman Yells for Help, Residents Help Detain Man 

At 4:45 p.m. April 24, officers responded to a report of a woman yelling for help on the walking path near Charleston Circle and Rampart Drive. A man fled from the area on foot, and several citizen bystanders detained him at Sierra Gardens Elementary School.

Officers found that the man and woman were in a dating relationship, had met by the creek to talk and drink, and had gotten into an altercation.

Officers arrested the man, a 33-year-old Roseville resident, on suspicion of domestic violence assault. He's currently in custody in the Placer County Jail.

Residential Burglaries:

Between March 23 and 29, someone stole jewelry from an apartment in the 1600 block of Vineyard Road. There was no sign of forced entry.

Between April 14 and 21, someone broke a window and went into a home on Cayucos Court while the resident was away. A handgun was stolen.

Between noon and 3 p.m. April 17, someone threw a brick through a bedroom window in the 300 block of Crescent Drive. The resident isn't sure if anyone went inside the house or not. Nothing was taken.

Between 7 and 10:30 p.m. April 21, someone cut a window screen and went into a ground-floor apartment in the 1100 block of Conroy Lane. The unknown suspect rummaged through the apartment, but didn't take anything.

Between 8 and 11 a.m. April 25, someone went into a home in the 3000 block of Big Bear Drive through an unlocked garage side door, and took a big-screen TV, guitars and other items.

Thefts:

Between 6:45 and 7 p.m. April 22, someone stole a man's wallet and iPhone from a backpack at a fitness center in the 300 block of N. Sunrise Ave. The man had put his backpack down in the gym while he played basketball. A suspect seen handling the backpack was a white male in his late teens or early 20s, 5'9" and 180 pounds, with spiked blond hair, wearing gym clothing.
