Possible Burglary Attempts – Around 2 p.m. on July 20, two males knocked on the front door of a home on Eriswell Drive, near Woodcreek Oaks and Junction boulevards, contacted a young resident and asked if her parents were home. After the two males left, a paper similar to a delivery slip was found on the front porch with a note mentioning a gift and a note that read, "sorry we missed you."  The resident called the phone number on the slip, and it was not a working number.

The resident thought possibly the two men were casing the neighborhood for burglary opportunities.  They were described as one black male and one white male, both in their 30s, wearing identical white shirts with brown markings on the sleeves, and backpacks.  Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the two.

The emergency procedures with Union Pacific worked, and the trains stopped for 30 minutes while the towing service removed the vehicle. The convertible driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
