Family Tied Up During Home Robbery

Roseville Police are searching for two suspects involved in a home robbery that occurred on Glenbrook Avenue in Roseville Oct. 26.

Two suspects robbed a home on Glenbrook Avenue in Roseville about 9:20 p.m. Oct. 26, tied members of the family up and took numerous belongings. Roseville Police are now searching for the two suspects involved.

According to Roseville Police, the male resident heard the doorbell ring and a knock on the door; when he answered the door, two men armed with handguns came into the home. The suspects tied the couple and one of their small children up with zip ties and searched the home. They left with items including a small gun safe containing a handgun, a cell phone and a small amount of cash, police said.

One suspect was described as a black male in his mid-20s, 5 feet 8 inches tall with a thin build, wearing a dark colored baseball cap, dark hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.  The other was described as a black male, about 30 years old, 6 feet tall, wearing a dark baseball cap and a gray hooded sweatshirt.  Both suspects were carrying handguns. No vehicle associated with them was seen.

No injuries were reported, according to Roseville Police.

Investigations found no reason why this home might have been targeted for a robbery.

No matter how the tip is submitted, tipsters can remain anonymous and could receive a cash reward for information leading to an arrest.
