A forklift being operated in the rear of a Target struck a gas line Sunday, prompting evacuation of the Roseville store, officials said.
The accident occurred about 11:35 a.m. at 10451 Fairway Dr., a fire dispatcher said.
Firefighters checked for gas leaks and called in PG&E crews, the dispatcher told Patch.
They cleared the scene at 12:25 p.m. but it was not clear whether shoppers were allowed to return.
