The above map shows where residential burglaries, or attempted burglaries, have been reported in Roseville since Feb. 1. The red flags represent the most recent reported break-ins. The "house" markers show previous break-ins this month. Click on the markers to read more information about each incident.

Saturday, Jan. 28

Sometime between Jan. 28 and Feb. 1, someone stole a cooktop from a vacant house on Ardley Drive.

Saturday, Feb. 4

Between 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 4, someone burglarized a house in the 200 block of Alta Vista Ave. It appears the burglar removed a window-mounted air-conditioning unit and entered via the window, taking a TV, laptop computers and other items.

Monday, Feb. 6

Attempted burglary: At 3 a.m. on Feb. 6, a resident of the 1600 block of Gardenia Way was awakened by a scraping sound.  The next day, she discovered that her garage door had been pried and was slightly open. Nothing was taken.

Between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Feb. 6, someone went into the backyard of a house in the 1600 block of Sierra Gardens Drive, and then entered the house through a bathroom window. The burglar took a flat-screen TV, video game console and other valuables.

Between noon on Feb. 6 and 6:30 a.m. on Feb. 7, someone entered a garage in the 500 block of Gibson Drive and took 2 bicycles and a cordless drill. There was no sign of forced entry, and we don't know how the burglar got in.

Between 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Feb. 6, someone entered an open garage on Stavros Court and took a bicycle. The resident had been working in his garage, but then went inside the house, leaving the garage door open.

Thursday, Feb. 9

Between 10 p.m. Feb. 9 and 9:30 a.m. Feb. 11, someone went into a house on Chandon Court and took antique silver items.  The unknown suspect may have entered through a back sliding door.

Friday, Feb. 10

Between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 10, someone entered a home on Grasmere Circle through a rear sliding door and stole video game consoles, jewelry and small electronic items.  It's unknown at this time whether this burglary is connected to the two suspects who were arrested for burglaries in the same area on Feb. 13.

Monday, Feb. 13

At 5:12 a.m. Feb. 13, an alert resident reported suspicious activity at a neighbor's house on Milstead Way. An SUV was parked on the curb in front of the neighbor's house, facing the wrong direction, and a person wearing a black sweatshirt with the hood up walked up to the residence.  Roseville Police, Rocklin Police and Placer County Sheriff's units responded and soon .

On Feb. 13, officers responded to an .  A resident encountered a burglar in her living room, holding her jewelry box.  She tried unsuccessfully to grab her jewelry box back, and the suspect fled out the back door. With the help of the Rocklin Police Department, officers developed a lead which led to the search of a residence in Rocklin.  Officers located stolen property and .

On Feb. 13, Roseville Police . A vacant house on Donnelly Court was burglarized, and a group of teens was seen running away. .

Attempted burglary: Sometime before 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 13, someone tried to pry the door leading from the side yard into the garage of a home in the 2100 block of Van Ness Drive.  Fortunately no one got in and nothing was taken.

Thursday, Feb. 16

Between 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 16, someone entered a home in the 1900 block of Vista Creek Drive, possibly through the garage side door, and took jewelry.

Friday, Feb. 17

Between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Feb. 17, someone pried open a window in the rear of the house and got into a home in the 1700 block of Tanglewood, taking a TV, a laptop computer, jewelry, and other small items.

Between 4 p.m. on Feb.17 and 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 18, someone forced open the front door of a home on Boston Commons Place and burglarized the house while the residents were away. It's unknown at this time what was taken.

Garage burglarized: Between Feb. 17 and 25, someone forced entry into a detached apartment garage at 1100 Roseville Parkway, and took several items (unknown what, pending a list from the victim).

Sunday, Feb. 19

At 1:47 a.m. on Feb. 19, officers responded to a burglary alarm at a home in the 1300 block of Greenborough Drive, and found the front door had been kicked open while the residents were away. It's unknown at this time what, if anything, was taken.

Tuesday, Feb. 21

Between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Feb. 21, someone went into a house on Avila Drive through an unlocked back door and ransacked one of the rooms. It's unknown at this time what was taken.  A neighbor said that at about 2 p.m. that day, an unknown male knocked on his door and asked if his vehicle was for sale. He was described Hispanic, about 20, clean cut with a goatee beard, wearing a light colored T-shirt and jeans. It's unknown if he was connected to the burglary.

Apartment garages burglarized — Between the night of Feb. 21 and the morning of Feb. 22, someone broke into four detached apartment garages at 700 Gibson Drive and rummaged through the cars parked inside. Fortunately the cars didn't have anything of significant value in them, but tools were taken from one of the garages.

Friday, Feb. 24

Between 8 p.m. on Feb. 24 and 8 a.m. on Feb. 25, someone kicked the door of an apartment on Somer Ridge Drive and took a laptop computer, video game consoles and other items.

Saturday, Feb. 25

An apartment on Conroy Lane was burglarized during the early morning hours of Feb. 25, while the resident was at work.  After an investigation, officers arrested a 27-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man, both from Roseville, on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property, and drug charges.

Overnight Feb. 25/26, a burglar went through an unlocked kitchen window into a home in the 600 block of Windsor Drive while the resident was away, and took a large screen television.

Monday, Feb. 27

Sometime before 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 27, someone kicked the door of a home in the 1600 block of Quail Circle and burglarized the house. It's unknown at this time what was taken.
