Robberies & Burglaries Down, Arson & Injury Collisions Up in Roseville

Vehicle theft has increased and DUI collisions have decreased in Roseville.

The Roseville Police Department recently released crime and traffic statistics for January through July 2013 — the good news: Robberies, fraud, DUI collisions and people killed in collisions have all decreased, compared to the same time last year.  The bad news: Rape, including attempts, arson and people injured in collisions are all up. 

Here are some of the highlights (compared to the same time last year):

  • Robberies are down 29 percent
  • Number of people killed in collisions down 67 percent
  • Arson is up 30 percent
  • Vehicle theft up 4 percent
  • Fraud/forgery down 12 percent
  • DUI collisions down 19 percent
  • Burglaries down 7 percent
  • Aggravated assault down 10 percent
  • Total collisions down 6 percent
  • People injured in collisions up 3 percent
