A Rocklin man was sentenced to 10 years in prison for possessing child pornography.
John Patrick Frost Jr., 28, was sentenced today, the Department of Justice announced. Following his prison sentence, he will serve a lifetime term of supervised release.
Frost pleaded guilty to one count of possession of child pornography in October 2012, according to a press release.
On March 12, 2009, a photo-sharing website reported that a user had posted child pornography to their page, according to court documents. An investigation led to a Placer County residence, where Frost spent time, according to the press release.
Frost admitted that between March 1, 2009 and Aug. 9, 2009, he knowingly possessed child pornography images, according to the press release.
Frost also has two convictions in Placer County in 2003 and 2008 for possession of child pornography, the Department of Justice reports.
