Roseville Firefighters to "Fill the Boot" This Weekend

Off-duty Roseville firefighters will be collecting donations this weekend at the intersection of Sierra College and Douglas boulevards.

Roseville firefighters will be taking donations to help "Fill the Boot for Burns" this weekend. The money raised will support burn prevention and recovery programs in northern and central California.

Expect to see off-duty firefighters from the Roseville Fire Department at the corner of Sierra College and Douglas boulevards where they will asking drivers to drop a few cents or dollars into their boots.

They'll be collecting donations from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 14 and Sunday, April 15.

Firefighters will also be asking the community to help support burn recovery programs including for youth burn survivors, Little Heroes Preschool Burn Camp, and other burn programs funded by the Firefighters Burn Institute.  Similar “Boot Drives” are being held simultaneously throughout the nation.
