Roseville Police: Man Shot & Killed During Argument

An argument between roommates Joseph Arthur Nunn and Kevin William Spindler escalated into a fatal shooting on Hickory Street in west Roseville.

A 54-year-old man was shot and killed during a reported argument between roommates on Hickory Street in west Roseville Monday. 

At 3:15 p.m. Sept. 30, officers responded to calls of shots fired at a home in the 100 block of Hickory Street. 

When officers arrived, they found one of the residents, Kevin William Spindler, down in the front yard of the home with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced him dead at the scene.

The victim's roommate, 48-year-old Joseph Arthur Nunn, was taken into custody at the scene without incident, police report. Officers allegedly determined that an argument between the roommates escalated until the suspect shot the victim with a handgun, according to Roseville Police.

No names are being released at this time, pending notification of the victim's family, according to Roseville Police.
