Shop with a Cop School Supply Drive Runs Through Aug. 4
Roseville Police Department's program rewards kids with a shopping spree every month.
Roseville Police Department's "Shop with a Cop" program is in need of donations.
Each month, Roseville students are selected to go on a shopping spree with a Roseville Police officer for new clothes and shoes. The program, which is a community effort among the Roseville Police Department, Roseville Police Activities League and local businesses and organizations, is designed to build a better relationship among police officers, community organizations and students.
Through Aug. 4, donations are needed for a school supply drive. Donation bins have been set up at the , , the and the .

Items accepted include:
- lined paper
- pencils, pens
- highlighter packs
- 3-ring binders
- report folders
- backpacks
- lunch boxes
- reams of printer paper
- Kleenex
- hand sanitizer
- sanitizer wipes (for example, Clorox wipes)
- dry erase pens
- student-size white boards
- glue sticks
- pencil boxes
To make a monetary donation, make your checks out to RPAL, Roseville Police Activities League and write "Shop with a Cop" in the memo area. Checks can be dropped off at the Roseville Police Department or mail the to the Roseville Police Department, Attention: RPAL, 1051 Junction Blvd., Roseville, CA 95678.
