Roseville Police Department officials are reporting that two Roseville teenage girls are missing under suspicious circumstances.
The two girls Melissa Perez, 16, and Angelina Loredo, 14, did not return home from school Thursday, Oct. 25.
The girls reportedly sent text messages to each of their fathers Thursday saying that they were with two men who would not let them leave, according to a police department press release. The girls said they did not know the men.
The texts also reportedly said they were scared and not to call police. They were sent between 6:40 and 9:35 p.m.
Melissa Perez, 16, is described by police as having brown hair and eyes and as being 5’4” tall, weighing 160 pounds. Loredo is 5’2” tall weighing, 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Since Thursday, the Roseville Police Department’s investigation’s division and their families have been working “diligently” to find Perez and Loredo, the press release stated.
Police also reported that information suggests they may be in Sacramento's Florin Road and Franklin Boulevard area.
If anyone has any information on the girls’ whereabouts they are urged to call the Roseville Police Department at (916) 774-5000.
