Vandals Damage 21 Vehicles at Used Car Lot

Auto Save on Roseville was the target of vandalism early Sunday morning. Police say there are currently no suspects.

More than 20 cars were damaged during a vandalism spree around 3 a.m. Sunday at Auto Save, a used car lot on Riverside Boulevard in Roseville.

According to Dee Dee Gunther, spokesperson with the Roseville Police Department, a witness saw four or five males with what appeared to be sticks or bats. They were last seen northbound on Riverside Avenue. Police were not able to locate any suspects, Gunther said.

Monday morning, shattered glass was scattered all around the used car dealership. Windows of almost every one of its cars on the lot were damaged, side-view mirrors were hanging by a few wires or on the ground, car decals were found on the floor.

According to an Auto Save employee, they haven't estimated the amount in damages yet, but said they would be closed at least a week or two to do as many repairs as they can.

"It shut us down for a while," the employee said Monday.
