County Court Faces Deficit, Seeks Comments

Roseville residents: Placer County Superior Court wants your comments.

Faced with a $1.8 million deficit in next year's proposed budget, The Placer County Superior Court is asking for your comments, the Sacramento Business Journal reports

The proposed budget is for Fiscal Year 2013-14, which runs from July 1 through June 30, 2014. 

Comments are welcome through 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, according to the county. 

Comments may be submitted via email to courtadmin@placer.courts.ca.gov or can be mailed to Superior Court of California, County of Placer, Attn: Court Administration, PO Box 619072, Roseville, CA 95661.

review overtime and cut back on that first....then look at who is overpaid and reduce or replace

How about putting a moratorium on Judge's Retreats, or cutting back on the number of deputy sheriffs who are the meet and greet committee at the front entrance? I was suprised by the number that were standing by the xray machine when I went there for jury duty.
