Grant Street to Close for Town Square Construction

Grant Street between Oak and Vernon streets in Downtown Roseville will be closed starting Oct. 11.

If you have to get somewhere on Grant Street in Downtown Roseville, plan ahead. Grant Street between Oak and Vernon streets will be closed to both vehicles and pedestrians starting Thursday, Oct. 11 for Town Square construction.

The street will be closed through the rest of the year, according to the City of Roseville.

Driver and pedestrians will have to take an alternate route; Washington Boulevard and Taylor and Lincoln streets will be open to vehicles and there will be pedestrian access on the Vernon Street and Oak Street sides of the Civic Center.

While Grant Street is closed, construction crews will be working on utility upgrades, improving the landscaping, installing a new mid-block crosswalk between the parking garage and the Civic Center and constructing diagonal parking spaces, as part of Town Square plans.
