Residents hoping to run for office in Roseville in November can file for consideration for inclusion on the ballot from July 16 through 5 p.m. Aug. 10.
Three Roseville City Council seats will be available; Councilman John Allard will have "termed out," while Mayor Pauline Roccucci and Councilwoman Carol Garcia will be eligible for re-election if they choose to run. The term begins Dec. 11.
Multiple seats on the school boards will open up as well. In the Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District, Scott Otsuka's and Jeff Randall's seats are available. Kristie Greiss' and Ryan Jones' seats are available within the Eureka Union School District. In the Roseville City School District, the seats of Gary Miller and Susan Goto are available. Three seats are available in the Roseville Joint Union High School District; those of Garry Genzlinger, R. Jan Pinney and Paige Stauss. All of these terms begin Dec. 7.
All of these positions are four-year terms.
The next municipal election is scheduled to take place Nov. 6.
If an incumbent does not file by Aug. 10, all other candidates have until Aug. 15 to file for that office.
