The candidate filing period begins July 16 and runs through Aug. 10 for the following elections:

Roseville City Council: Three seats are up for grabs — those of Mayor Pauline Roccucci, Councilwoman Carol Garcia and Councilman John Allard. Both Roccucci and Garcia are eligible to run for re-election, but Allard is not. The four-year term begins Dec. 11.

Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District Board of Trustees: Two four-year seats are up for grabs. The new term begins Dec. 7. Scott Otsuka's and Jeff Randall's seats are available.

Eureka Union School District Board of Trustees: Two four-year seats are up for grabs. The seats available are those of Kristie Greiss and Ryan Jones. The new term begins Dec. 7.

Roseville Joint Union High School District Board of Trustees: Three four-year seats are available. The seats available are those of Garry Genzlinger, R. Jan Pinney and Paige Stauss. The new term begins Dec. 7.

Roseville City School District Board of Trustees: Two four-year seats are up for grabs — those of Gary Miller and Susan Goto. The new term begins Dec. 7.

: This state race goes to a runoff this November between . Gaines currently serves in the Assembly in another district, which represents Roseville.
