The closure possibility stems from a list of challenges the district currently faces regarding Dry Creek Elementary School, including the need for intersection and off-site improvements, inadequate infrastructure facilities such as septic, restrooms and kitchen areas, limited access to the school for student drop-off and buses, the lack of a multi-purpose room and the inability to conduct new construction without moving the district office.
