Merryhill School Set for New Campus, Expansion to Add Middle School

A Roseville private school is moving to a new campus and adding more grades this fall.

Merryhill School is adding middle school grades and moving to 1115 Orlando Ave., the school said in a press release.

“For the past 30 years, Merryhill School in Roseville has been offering outstanding private elementary education,” a press release quoted Wendy Bond, executive director of Merryhill School in Roseville, as saying. “We’re building on this tradition of excellence with a larger and more contemporary school which reflects and supports our strong academics and personalized learning in a nurturing environment.”

The school, which is currently located on Sierra Gardens Drive, will now have 15 classrooms and "enhanced educational technology," including an iPad for every middle school student.

ROSEVILLE, Calif. (May 20, 2013) – Merryhill School, currently located at 1622 Sierra Gardens Drive, will relocate to a new and expanded campus at 1115 Orlando Avenue in August. The new Merryhill School campus will be able to accommodate middle school grades and will feature a new and modern facility that will compliment its core 21st century skills curriculum.

The new Merryhill School campus on Orlando Avenue will be convenient for local families with easy freeway access and represents a central location east and west of Roseville, Rocklin, Granite Bay, Lincoln, Loomis and Auburn. The school will feature 15 classrooms, media center, multi-purpose room, significant area for playgrounds, and enhanced educational technology including a plan for one to one iPads® for middle school students. The school will also offer winter, spring and summer camp programs. All Camp programs will also be open to non-Merryhill School students in grades kindergarten through seventh. Connie Curiel, who has been principal of Merryhill School in Roseville for 14 years, will lead the new school.
