A , but the show is back on.
The school's spring musical, "Little Shop of Horror" opens at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 19 and runs through April 28.
Approximately during the March 10 theft and since then, Roseville businesses, community members and students have collected donations and held fundraisers to raise that money and keep the show going. Students held a recycling drive on campus, donations were accepted at Oakmont High and the district office, and local businesses like and held fundraisers.
In a message to fans, Oakmont High drama students and staff thanked the public for support.
"Thanks to your support, we have officially raised back the money and saved not only our plant, but also the cost of our musical. We couldn't have done it without you!" it read on the Oakmont High School drama Facebook page.
"Little Shop of Horrors" tells the story of how a floral assistant becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a mysterious craving for fresh blood.
