STAR Scores Released for Roseville Schools

How did your school district STAR test scores do this year compared to last?

Roseville school districts' STAR Test scores dropped compared to last year in most cases. 

According to the 2013 results released yesterday, Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District was the only Roseville school district that had the majority of test scores increase from 2013. The other three districts' test scores dropped, significantly in some subjects.

Here are the 2013 STAR Test scores for the schools in Roseville school districts, as released by the State Office of Education. For comparison, the 2012 scores are also included. All scores equal percent of students who scored proficient or above:

Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District

Scores in all subjects increased from 2012 to 2013, except English. 
2013:
  • English: 68.9% 
  • History: 67.9%
  • Math: 70.7%
  • Science: 82.2%
2012:
  • English: 72.5% 
  • History: 67.6%
  • Math: 68.7%
  • Science: 80.3%

Eureka Union School District

All scores dropped from 2012 to 2013.
2013:
  • English: 82.8% 
  • History: 78.6%
  • Math: 78.5%
  • Science: 82.1%
2012:
  • English: 86% 
  • History: 79.8%
  • Math: 80%
  • Science: 84.9%

Roseville City School District

All scores dropped from 2012 to 2013, except for science, which went up slightly.
2013:
  • English: 73% 
  • History: 72.2%
  • Math: 73.1%
  • Science: 78.6%
2012: 
  • English: 76.7% 
  • History: 77%
  • Math: 74.8%
  • Science: 78.5%

Roseville Joint Union High School District

All scores dropped from 2012 to 2013. 
2013:
  • English: 67.1% 
  • History: 60.9%
  • Math: 32.7%
  • Science: 70.1%
2012:
  • English: 68.1% 
  • History: 62.7%
  • Math: 33.2%
  • Science: 70.2%
