Roseville Golfers Claim Title in Nor Cal PGA Pro-President Championship

Sierra View County Club team beats out 30 teams during PGA Tournament held in Orinda Monday.

Chris Galvin and Steve Siegel of Sierra View Country Club claimed the 2012 Northern California PGA Pro-President Championship title Monday with a score of 7-under par 65.

The two outscored 30 teams vying for the title at the Orinda Country Club, with a par of 72.

Galvin is an apprentice assistant golf professional and Steve Siegel is a club official.

The 92-year-old Northern California Section of the PGA of America (NCPGA) is one of the 41 designated sections of the PGA of America. 

The NCPGA boasts 1,100 dedicated PGA professionals and apprentices at more than 500 golf facilities in Northern California and Northwestern Nevada.
